Terms of Service for YTMP4.ink

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the YTMP4.ink website and our online YouTube to MP4 conversion service (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or utilizing YTMP4, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue using our Service immediately.

1. Description of Service

YTMP4 provides a free, web-based digital utility that enables users to parse publicly accessible video URLs from YouTube and convert or extract them into standard multimedia file containers (such as MP4 and MP3) for offline playback. The Service operates purely as a technical tool and does not provide content hosting, curation, or syndication.

2. Permitted and Acceptable Use

You agree to use YTMP4 only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You represent and warrant that:

  • You will only process content that you personally created, content for which you own the copyright, or content where you have obtained express legal permission or license from the legitimate copyright owner to download and store.
  • You will use the Service for personal, non-commercial, and fair educational purposes as permitted under the copyright statutes of your country of residence.
  • You will not use YTMP4 to download commercial movies, subscription broadcasts, DRM-encrypted media, or content subject to digital rights locks that you are not authorized to access.
  • You will not re-upload, sell, broadcast, monetize, or publicly redistribute downloaded media files without explicit authorization from the rights holder.

3. Prohibited Activities

In connection with your use of the Service, you agree that you will not:

  • Deploy automated bots, spiders, scrapers, or scripts to flood our conversion API endpoints with high-velocity requests, causing denial of service or performance degradation for other users.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, compromise, or bypass any security features, firewalls, rate limits, or access controls implemented across our server cluster.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, infringing, or malicious objective.
  • Attempt to re-sell or commercialize access to the YTMP4 conversion interface or its backend endpoints.

4. Intellectual Property & Third-Party Rights

Non-Affiliation: YTMP4.ink is an independent software project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with YouTube, Google LLC, Alphabet Inc., or any of their affiliated corporate entities. "YouTube" is a registered trademark of Google LLC.

All rights, titles, and interests in and to third-party videos, audio tracks, and visual assets belong entirely to their respective copyright owners. YTMP4 claims no ownership, copyright, or licensing interest over media processed through our platform.

5. Copyright Infringement & DMCA Takedown

We take intellectual property rights very seriously. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and international copyright directives, we maintain an active notice-and-takedown procedure. If you believe your copyrighted work has been processed without authorization, please visit our DMCA Policy and submit a formal claim to our designated agent.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that the Service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, timely, or that all video formats or resolutions will be available for every submitted URL. YouTube frequently updates its streaming protocols, which may temporarily impact extraction capabilities until our software adapters are updated.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YTMP4, ITS DEVELOPERS, OPERATORS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ANY DAMAGES RESULTING FROM COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT CLAIMS, LOSS OF DATA, OR HARDWARE MALFUNCTION.
